Sethu and Ranjini are lovers who attempt suicide but Sethu survives and gets sent to prison for a year. Upon his release, he becomes a dance instructor where a student, Malini, falls in love with him.

The film revolves around two college friends where one is a new student. The new student falls in love with his friend’s sister without knowing she is his friend’s sister. The plot forms when he realize the truth.
